With the winter sport season coming to an end and the spring sports underway, PHS seniors reminisce about their past sports seasons, talking about traditions and memorable moments. A common thread between each athlete is their friends, teammates, and the bonds and community they’ve built within the team.

"[I'm going to miss] getting that exercise in but I'm also going to miss having all of my friends close by. I feel like we're all really close now, and I'm gonna miss all of the girls."

- Ani Betancourt ’26

“Swimming in high school [is] more about the team, and it [is] less of an individual sport. [It has] changed my perspective on things, and it made [high school] a lot more enjoyable.”

- Annie Flanagan ’26

“[I’ll miss] having a community to run with and also being able to run track, because in college, unless you’re recruited, you can’t run track and compete in the same way you can in high school.”

- Siddhant Bhat ’26
